What We Do
- We do not disclose source identities without explicit written consent.
- We do not retain identifying metadata from tips submitted through secure mail services.
- We do not share source information with law enforcement or government agencies without a court order — and we will contest any such order.
What You Should Do
- Submit tips from a personal device on a personal network.
- Use a secure email provider (ProtonMail, Tutanota) for sensitive material.
- If you’re a government employee or contractor, know your rights under federal whistleblower protections before reaching out.
